The 2026 World Manufacturing Convention was held in Hefei, Anhui Province, from September 20 to 23 under the theme “Intelligent Manufacturing for a Better World.” Focusing on frontier fields including new-energy vehicles, quantum technology and artificial intelligence, the event brought together more than 2,000 guests from over 50 countries and regions and showcased more than 15,000 exhibits.

Zhao Kuan, Party Secretary and Chairman of Anhui Tiankang Group, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and the 2026 National Forum on Building China into a Manufacturing Power. Through this major international industry platform, Tiankang presented the progress of its instrumentation business and demonstrated the Group’s commitment to independent innovation.

Advancing the Localization of Core Instrumentation Technologies

Tianchang, Chuzhou, is one of China’s key instrumentation industry hubs, home to more than 500 companies associated with the sector. As a leading enterprise in the industry, Anhui Tiankang Group remains committed to strengthening China’s manufacturing capabilities. Its products account for approximately 40% of the national market, while its temperature instruments have ranked first in China in both production and sales for many consecutive years.

In the past, the domestic instrumentation industry relied heavily on imported high-end chips, creating constraints on its development. In recent years, Tiankang has deepened industry–academia–research collaboration and worked with universities to tackle key technical challenges. These efforts have enabled the localization of critical components, including high-precision sensors and temperature-measurement chips. The performance of the related products has reached internationally advanced levels, helping address long-standing bottlenecks in essential components.

Taking “Intelligent Manufacturing in Anhui” to the Global Stage

During the convention, Chairman Zhao Kuan was interviewed by several leading media outlets. He noted that the World Manufacturing Convention serves as an important gateway for Anhui-based industries to connect with global markets. Tiankang will make full use of the platform to showcase the strength of Anhui’s instrumentation industry, seize new opportunities and compete more actively in the international marketplace—bringing the voice of “Intelligent Manufacturing in Anhui” to the world.

On the morning of September 21, Chairman Zhao led a delegation on visits to the convention’s exhibition zones. He introduced the Group’s key innovative products to the media and exchanged views with industry peers on emerging trends in intelligent manufacturing.

Speaking about the future of manufacturing, Chairman Zhao said that next-generation intelligent manufacturing is a core technology of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and a key pathway for industrial transformation and upgrading.
